SO honored recently to be present as the Avon Foundation presented an $11,000 check to DAIS Madison, WI. Their work in empowering women at risk for domestic violence is powerful.

It brings home the fact that within each of our communities there are angels working silently behind the scenes helping to make life better for others. The training, support and courage given by staff is remakeable and vital to our community. Helping women get back on their feet with jobs and with their children is imspiring.

So, thank you for wearing the BC Bag, the butterfly watch and for all your money does behind the scenes. You are appreciated!  Val

As October closes...

Although October is the month we look at awareness for the tragic cause of Breast Cancer, let's make a promise to remember all year long. When we offer special items to purchase that contribute to the Avon Foundation's important work, we all get involved. It's deep appreciation I feel to all my clients that contributed. We enjoy the lovely tote bag, the generous spirit of Fergie and her fragrance and the stories we heard of Avon folks in the pink issue. But, the important thing is the work that your money does for the people not in the spotlight. We all have someone in our world that suffers with this.
